The East course is an Ellis Maples classic with Donald Ross influence in the way it follows the natural contours of the land, by the position of the sand traps and shaping of the greens. It is simply 7,094 yards of “no-gimmick” golf. Stray from the center line and lies decay rapidly! Length, accuracy, a solid short game and artful putting strokes are needed to master this test.

At 6,521 yards, the West course is reminiscent of a “northeastern country club” with the elevation changes uncommon to the Sandhills and towering oak trees lining the fairways. Tranquil lakes and streams meander through most of the back nine. Fairways bordered by trees and water, abundant rough and target greens make every shot a premium. Always in great shape, the West is truly a shot maker’s paradise!

CCWP is 5 miles from Pinehurst, the “Home of American Golf”, and 50 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Group golf outings are welcome.
